HUGE news on the chopping block in the exclusive cover revealed for NY Comic Con program: DC's Dark Knight III!
That's right, along with a panel celebrating the 30th anniversary of the release of
Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns, the New York Comic Con 2015 has unveiled a stunning cover of this year's program guide to reflect the artwork of Andy Kubert and be an exclusive sneak-peek into Issue #1 of Frank Miller's highly anticipated DARK KNIGHT III: THE MASTER RACE mini-series of graphic novels.
The art is stunning and eerily reminiscent of the Frank Miller artwork done for the legendary Dark Knight book that is one of the main influences in the upcoming blockbuster film Batman Vs. Superman.
The look, gritty feel, and realistic tale of strife between two of the world's well known and starkly contrasting super heroes in a world only Frank Miller can construct is a cult favorite and considered one of the most important works ever created in the comic book medium.
Miller followed up The Dark Knight Returns with The Dark Knight Strikes Again, and DK III is said to be the final set of graphic novels for a trilogy that adds up to a thrilling magnum opus.
And to kick off the New York City turned Gotham locale for Comic Con, ReedPOP has brought this impactful and kick ass cover art to its NYCC 2015 program.
Read all about it and the DC Comics – The Dark Knight 30th Anniversary panel where longtime collaborators of Frank Miller's, Jim Lee, Brian Azzarello, Klaus Janson, Andy Kubert will gather at the Con to pay homage to the great work.
